I dunno about anyone else, but for me, the main compulsion to listen to the shows and podcasts, even above Karls philosophies and Steve's great anecdotes, has got to be Ricky's laugh. Has there ever been such an infectious laugh? Truly we laugh with him. At Karl. See this: youtube.com/watch?v=1Qb1eKrHdKUThe shows are far more than just listening to 3 blokes have a natter. There's the tension of Karls meandering monologues of nonsense and the ear-splitting release of Ricky's barely held in mirth. I can even - and this may be sad but I expect some of you understand- pinpoint my favourite moments of Rickys laughing, the special laughs. One of my favourites has to be in the Thanksgiving podcast where karl explains he was still using his eyes even though he had them shut. Ricky practically explodes and I defy anyone else not to. SO! Can anyone else recall their favourite Ricky guffaws?

I think the one i remember the most is where their trying for the burger stuffing world record and Karl tried to say something with his mouth full and Ricky nearly passes out laughing.

Ricky's laugh is infectious alright.
The best laugh I remember is the one my nickname refers to. The bit where Karl gets to read three sayings, one of which he thought up himself.
Number 1: Nothing is worth more than this day. Number 2: The way I see it, if you like the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain. Number 3: (...moment of silence...) Catfood...
Ricky explodes. Fantastic moment.
(PS: the saying was "Catfood, it stinks a bit, but if you don't put up with it the little kitten will die.")

Ricky's laugh is part of what makes the show. If you listen to Karl when he's worked on shows with other people like Russell Brand for example it just aint the same. It just emphasizes how funny the crap he's coming out with actually is. If you don't like Ricky's laugh the shows must be unbearable to listen to.

Not sure if this counts, but it has me rolling with laughter every time I hear it:
Season 2, Episode 18 Ricky does some terrible "Only Fools and Horses" impressions.

My favourite Ricky laugh is probably the one after Karl says foodage.
Other highlights are after he sees the woman who seduced a 14 year old boy, "that should be interesting for meatballs" in white van karl when he falls on the floor, Karl talking about buying someone a goat to go to Africa for Xmas ("suddenly it's on barren land"), all of Ricky's laughter during the "monkey business" monkey news and when Karl's talking about Plato being killed by a falling egg ("what sort of bird is dropping its eggs onto rocks to let the kids out?!") because he combines the laugh with "You are a maniac!" in a really high-pitched voice.
Ahh...so many great moments.

The meatballs one WAS brilliant, partly because it was such an arbitrary issue that followed the infamous (and almost 15 minutes long) 'e had a-orse in the ouse story', god that was brilliant When you can actually hear Ricky kitting the floor, I'd have love to have seen that.

The ne after Karl's "Harry" story about war poems is brilliant I think he falls on the floor.

Yup. Its totally infectious. I also love the one after "using me eyes even though I 'ad em shut" on the Thanksgiving podcast. You can hear Steve to start with, and then silence as Ricky catches his breat back
