Part 4/5 *ONLY*
"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party"
That's shit right? Seeing as it was a radio show and in the public domain.

Possibly an unremoved song breaking the rules?

Quite possibly, I made a post about this elsewhere in the forum. It's strange because this material (as a FREE radio show) was already in the public domain, so what difference is it making? I can't imagine many people are listening to this show for the songs though, face it! The only songs worth listening to on there (that ARE in full) are killing of Georgy (because of Karls comments) and that one by Eric Clapton (because Karl thought it was about a little fella in a wheel chair).

Also Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack is a cracking song. I think episode got a copyright claim for the White Stripes cover of Joleen if I remember the episode correctly.

I love that song, I almost cry when I hear it and I have no idea why. Jolene I mean, and only the White Stripes version, weird 'ennit.
The funny thing is, you can still listen to the song elsewhere on numerous copies on youtube anyway, so they're not fighting the problem.

Listened to it recently and it was Galveston by Jimmy Webb that caused the problem on this episode.
It's happening on quite a few episodes now, either the section with the song in is taken down or the audio is disabled. Is it possible for you to cut out the songs and reupload Telepop?

What I don't get is, who is listening to all the sections, and then telling someone which sections have the songs in them? Sad fucking bastards.

I’ve re-edited and uploaded all the removed clips from youtube, had to remove the parts where they talk over the killing of georgie and you look wonderful tonight, how those can be construed as a breach of copyright I’ll never know, ah well

You can always listen to those parts via Torrents or downloads anyway, so we aren't at a total loss luckily :-) If putting up the (public domain, and FREE) radio shows was against some law, then the shows were against the law to begin with.... which I find hard to believe. Though they were swearing in the middle of the day, so who knows.
