There's a TV show called 'Pointless', the basic premise being, answer a given question with the most obscure (but correct) answer you can think of. They ask a hundred people, so if no one out of the entire hundred says one of the correct answer, it is literally a 'Pointless answer'.
The question was 'Name a top 40 Rod Stewart single', I answered 'The killing of Georgie' and it was a pointless answer (which would have added £250 to the jackpot).
