From Rickys Blog: I do this every year anyway, put in a 4 hour tape (yes, I really do still use VHS tapes!) and set it to long play, then just fast forward to the bits I want to actually watch, rather than staying up far too late to see endless hours of boring stuff. I've donated already this year (I wanted that pirate-themed red nose) and some other bits, so I don't think I'm being overly morally objectionable I must add, not all the boring stuff is African Kids looking ill and that, but some of the 'comedy stuff' is just terrible. Should be a fun hour or so get out of the entire night anyway

Got round to watching the night, yeah the Ricky, Steve and Karl stuff was funny, although sadly I had watched it the night before on youtube without realising it, I thought it was a pre-night thing but ah well. Here it is (on the night, it was split into 3 smaller segments): www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw_WarPDtL0Good stuff I thought, certainly not "an all time low"

I saw them on youtube as well, was having a look through the comments and I felt sad for those people who were offended by Karl or didn't understand his humour.

That was always bound to happen though, plus there is always going to be something in comic relief that is supposed to be funny but you as a person, do not find it funny.
That thing with Smithy (played by James Cordon) in it, I honestly didn't find that funny, but then I don't find James Cordon funny, so I was bound not to.
