Well, the first episode was on tonight and it was just brilliant.

Karl was in China and had to walk along the entire length of the great wall, get a flaming glove massage, eat some toad, and generally just looked confused a lot. Every time he got a phone message it was either from Steve or Ricky telling him what they had arranged for him next.

Basically it was all very funny, and a rather interesting look at China, although they don't have toilet doors or toiler paper, so you know, I wouldn't go myself.

The one thing that the UK have EVER had first, but yeah I'll be buying it on DVD when it comes out (look out for that in Denmark too!) plus there is a companion book released on amazon, so I'll be buying that when it's a bit cheaper

He's been to China, India, Jordan and Mexico so far, though the Mexican one might be my favourite so far.
Pretty funny to see him dressed as a wrestler and trying to train with Shocker (who I have seen on TV before), plus almost getting killed a few times by firework (well, hit with some anyway), and failing to find anywhere that sold Mexican jumping beans.

So the series has been fantastic so far, and apparently there may be a second series! Though I have no idea about what exactly. Maybe the seven natural wonders? or perhaps the seven modern wonders?

I'd quite like to see Karl go to the moon or something, see if his point can be proven that there is nothing up there anyway, or if he can find a little alien fella' after all.

So the lastest episode was Karl going off to Rio de Janeiro to see the statue of 'Christ The Redeemer'.

It had everything, gays, nudists, nudist gays, Karl being abandoned in his guides house for the night whilst the guy went out for the night to be a female impersonator. Karl had to dress up and dance, his costume was huge, and he has a go at Steve for dancing funny? His was brilliant though, obviously.

Oh, and he saw the Jimmy Hill statue, although it turns out the 'big chin' on the Christ statue was his beard, so he seemed dissapointed.

I'm pretty sure one of the gays he met at the beach was there at the carnival as well, he must be a fan of the k-man.

Ha maybe he has a little gay stalker, though unless Karl goes out late, not sure how that's gonna work.

I got the book and DVD of this at Christmas by the way, fantastic

Did you notice when that guide left him in his house it was pretty late when he went out.....more of Karls ramblings coming true?

Probably true, although that was a women that went out, or was it a man? It confused Karl at least. Do lesbians go out late too?

I am thinking of the right one aren't I? The guy that was a female impersonator/dancer type fella.

It is. I guess you've probably heard his story on that programme There's something about Miriam which probably gives an insight into his views....but he was still a fella.

Man women women man, uh, well..... half and half. Yeah I remember Ricky trying to get out of Karl what he had actually seen (as Ricky said) like a parent trying to figure out if their frightened child has seen a ghost or a pedophile, haha.

I was just listening to a clip from xfm when Karl goes on about he used to do body popping.

Now....did you see him dancing on that boat in Egypt? hehe

I think I remember that yeah, I've only watched the series once when it was on TV, I will watch it again along with reading the book, should be fun I want to see the extras too, plus when Karl gets to meet Warwick.

I've seen some clips of the meeting already so I won't spoil it for you.

I solved the dancing issue as well, I think it must have been that Karl put on some wet jeans again as Suzanne wasn't there to watch him and as a result was suffering from his restless leg syndrome.

Karl wouldn't even get dressed if Susanne was there! Although he doesn't walk around naked in his own flat, but then he wouldn't ever get undressed because he stays up late watching Dracula films, not going out, only gays go out late.
