What's everyone's favourite controversial story from Karl? I like, amongst others:
1) Kid in a wheelie bin. 'We'll leave that.'
2) 'It was her Down Syndrome-d' kid.'
3) Karl's dad's a thief: 'He was lovin' it. He was pickin' up all sorts.'
4) Ricky: WHAT DID YOUR DAD CALL THE ELEPHANT WOMAN? TELL ME. NO. DON'T YOU....TELL ME!' Karl: Spud 'ead....
5) Elvis liked fat, sweaty women. Aright?

After Ricky explained the film 'Sophie's Choice' to Karl, he remarked:
"So, it was a bit like a deal or no deal type thing".

Oh God, how could I have forgotten, 'The Chinese don't age well. They just age overnight, it's like a pear.' That's my all time favourite Controversial Karl.

The Sophies' Choice one was from the Ricky Gervais guide to the arts, I am pretty sure. Speaking of pears, I love the bit where Ricky tries to balance a pear on Karls' head, but it's a particularly juicy pear, so juice runs down his face  HAHA. I love Karls fascination with the Chinese, it's like a kid looking at people in wheelchairs. |

It's not really a story but something they were discussing on xfm.
When the gang come back from the sony awards and don't really win anything so are all a bit down. Start trying to think of reasons why and when it comes to Steve Karl says: "No one likes to pick on an invalid."
