About 7:30 into the second part of the show. The bit where Ricky is talking about his Girlfriend at school, cheating an animal survet saying she saw a beaver, and Ricky says: "Unless it was, Susie Diblethwait's Beaver...." Always makes me laugh, no idea why Haha. How his voice quickens nearer the end and goes a bit quieter, brilliant.

Sometimes Ricky comes out with the most amazing stuff. In my opinion, his most comedic lines are always ad-libbed. There is one episode (I think it's in season 1 or 2) when Steve asks Ricky if he should list the prizes for the Rockbusters competition, and Ricky says, 'Please do' in the most matter of fact way, and I have no idea but it makes me laugh everytime I hear it. I also like it when he puts on his generic DJ voice, and it's made even better by how obvious it is that Steve finds it funny.

Haha yeah, when he does the 'run-on DJ' stuff (all in one muffled breath, getting quicker as he nears the end), example: "That was *song* by *band* I'm Ricky Gervais with Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington Karl what's going on?" It's just funny he takes no breaths haha

I've adopted a lot of things that Ricky says and does into my everyday speech now! My friends must think I've gone mad. I've started saying, 'Hellooahhh' and 'Noooooah' in that ridiculous way he does - it's just so funny I have to do it all the time now! And the way Steve says, 'Noooo, noo noo noo noo nooooah'. Brilliant. In many ways, Karl is the funniest of the lot. His timing is brilliant, and he probably doesn't even know it.

Too true, it's wierd to meet someone like me! For once. I have adopted many manc phrases without even noticing like 'a'right?' and 'were' instead of 'was'. My mum got annoyed by it at one point, likening it to when middle class white kids start talking like black street kids because they listen to rap music.
